I just bought a Wacom drawing tablet last month. Still playing around on it, but I have several pictures started and can't wait until I'm finished with them.

Just found out my coworker/friend is pregnant... she's going to leave work by August. On top of that she's told me the bosses are looking to sell the business in the very near future. This means I may not have a job by the end of the year. The lack of a decent paying job means.. this is some sort of a sign I should finally get my ass off to University?

Finally got my internet to work again, was having trouble accessing it and turns out it was the router's fault. Damn you evil router! *shakes fist angrily*

On my last note here, I just checked out this apparently extremely controversial issue with Nick Simmons and his new comice "Incarnate". Haha plagiarism is FTW.. especially when used to make money off of it.

Been working on a multitude of things lately - a little art, figuring out how to properly work my scanner, finding my lost socks, and scrounging up wigs and whatnot for Animethon 17 cosplay.

I figured out three cosplay I would like to do for this year. Miranda Lotto from D.Gray Man, Tsunade from Naruto, and Hijikata from Gintama. We'll see how far I get on these "side projects", and if they do come into existance.. if I'll have pictures as proof. ^^'

Been lazy with my art, but DA does provide continuous inspiration. I'll try to stick with putting up art more frequently, even though the last ones I uploaded are rather old.

I've had ideas for my own webcomic rolling about for some time now, perhaps in the near future it'll end up on here. Perhaps.

I figure I've been putting off a lot of things lately, especially my art. I've tried to get back into it but it's becoming increasingly harder to feel any sort of inspiration these days. Music used to be my muse. I could put on any kind of music... anything at all, and I would instantly picture a character or scene that would drive me to express this vision on paper. At first I blamed my dad's passing on this "artist's block", but I don't think such was ever the cause.

Besides that little mishap in my boring.. boring life, I'm still working on next year's cosplay costumes. Hooray. I can't wait to fail at sewing again. I shouldn't complain though, if my finger remains unattached to the material in the end result, I've managed to do something right.

I'm seriously starting to believe I dislike Christmas. Why can't the public accept a simple supper and enojoyment with the company of family and friends as opposed to the blind indulgance of the facade of the "perfect" christmas? We're all taught to spend outrageous amounts of money on material objects that are either cast into the garbage without a second glance, or are entirely unappreciated. Well, not all of us are taught that kind of rubbish... but the majority are. I think you can tell what I want for christmas.

This is so awesome, I bought a new laptop on Sunday and I love it more than anything else in the world right now. Also, I bought a printer/scanner along with it.. so you know what that means
I can't wait to get my stuff up, I've been waiting for years. Although I do need some sort of photoshop program or something of the like. Meh, I'll get to it one day.
This calls for a beer! Or better yet, vodka and orange juice <3

I may not have achieved my year off, but with my new job in embroidery, I have recieved two weeks off for christmas. Me encanta! <3

Well, not too long ago in august, I attended my very first anime convention. I wanted to cosplay really badly, so I quickly put together a costume together with only a week to complete it (I only found out about the convention a couple weeks before it started), and it turned out alright. I went as Tsunade from naruto, and even though not many acknowledged me, I still had an awesome time.
Since then, I've been busy working on costumes for my brothers and sister and I. We settled on me going as Tsunade again, with my sister as Orochimaru and my brother as Jiraiya. Hence, the three great sannin from Naruto.
My other brother wants to go as Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII.
Our other costumes are from Gintama. Me as Hijikata, my sister as Kagura, and my brothers as Gintoki and Kondo. We figure as a group, we'll be recognized more easily.
I'm getting pretty excited actually, I can't believe how many other freaks are out there just like me. XD
Currently I'm working on making the armor and swords for the 6 or 7 costumes I have yet to make... oy vey
